Hills of Steel encompasses a wide range of game modes that cater to various playing styles, appealing to the preferences of many gamers.
Survival Mode: Delve into arcade-style gameplay, fighting off relentless waves of tanks and mighty bosses.
Online mode: Take on other players from around the globe in intense battles.
Tanks and upgrades
The Cobra serves as the introductory tank for new players in Hills of Steel. As you advance, you will have the opportunity to unlock larger and more powerful tanks. Click the arrow on the right to explore an array of exciting tank models such as Titan, Phoenix, Ballista, Reaper, Barracuda, and others. Among them, I find the Scorpion especially appealing because it not only fires but has operational capabilities too, resembling a crab in Design.
Regarding upgrades, tanks typically possess 9 or 10 upgrade levels, requiring coins upon purchasing them for enhancements. Additionally, each tank can be retrofitted with Boosters outside of the main battle system, usually allowing for 7 different Boosters per tank model. However, players can only utilize one Booster during combat. There are three customization options available for outfitting tanks. For those utilizing the MOD version of Hills of Steel, there’s ample supply enabling you to acquire all in-game assets.
Engage in varied combat experiences
The captivating experience within this game is structured into both PVP and PVE modes. During PVE gameplay, players will confront an endless stream of enemy bots, poised to wreak havoc on your tank. Players will need to strategize to eliminate these foes. As you progress to higher levels, stronger opponents with larger tanks will materialize, posing a greater threat compared to prior enemies.
Once you become proficient with your tank's firing dynamics, it's time to dive into PVP encounters. You’ll engage with other players whose tanks are equally equipped, making victory contingent upon your Tactical acumen and combat prowess. The matchmaking can vary, offering options for 1vs.1 or 2vs.2 battles, ensuring each genre delivers its own unique blend of excitement and challenge.
